Lewis.Brian.Hopkins.Jones was born 28th February 1942 in Cheltenham.Brian was known as "Buster" at school when he was around 15(because he didn't comb his hair)i think,and was very good at school!
one night in April 1962 saw Keith Richards and Mick Jagger Brian playing slide guitar on 'Dust My Broom'.Brian was the first person in England that played bottleneck guitar(slide guitar).
Brian left a message in Jazz News about if someone that wanted to start a band.the first who answered on it was the pianist Ian Stewart.Brian first started the Rollin'Stones with Mick Jagger,Keith Richards,Dick Taylor,Ian Stewart and Geoff Bredford and after a while started Tony Chapman as the drummer.he used the name from a Muddy Waters song.but soon quit both Dick Taylor and Tony Chapman but Bill Wyman had already started in the band as the bass player and Charlie Watts joined them as the drummer.they where now:
The Rolling Stones!!!!!
Brian shared same appratment with Mick and Keith,and let's just say that Keith gotta live with his two wonderful brothers!you never met Mick without Keith and you never met Keith without Mick,but after a while you never met Keith without Mick and Brian.
Brian could play 15 instruments like sitar,flute,saxophone etc....
